How to Submit a Takedown Request
All DMCA notices must be submitted in writing to our Legal Compliance Department at:

Upon receiving a valid takedown request, we will review the claim and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing content. If necessary, we may also notify the user responsible for the content and provide them with an opportunity to file a counter-notification under the DMCA.

Frequently Asked Questions About Abuse
What is copyright?
Copyright, or “author’s rights,” grants the creator of a work the exclusive right to publish or reproduce it. It does not give anyone else the right to copy the work without permission.
What is plagiarism?
Plagiarism is the act of copying someone else’s words, images, or ideas and presenting them as your own. For example, downloading a sample report and submitting it (or parts of it) as your own work is considered plagiarism.
How does Schootex handle abuse reports?
When an abuse report is submitted, we will assess its validity. If the report is justified, Schootex will take appropriate action to prevent further infringement and mitigate any potential harm.
What happens to users who repeatedly infringe on copyright?
In cases of repeated copyright infringement, Schootex may close and delete the offending user’s account. For more information, please refer to our terms and conditions.
What should I do if I receive a take-down notification?
If Schootex determines that a document violates copyright, it will be promptly removed from the platform. If you believe this action is incorrect, you may file a counter-notification with evidence showing that you are the rightful owner of the removed content.
